This morning I went out to deposit some money at the local Bank of America. After putting my deposit envelope into the machine and making the proper selections, I reached up to pull the receipt back out for my records. I then began jotting down the transaction into my ledger when I realized that my card was still in the machine. As I reached up to snag my bankcard card, the machine quickly sucked it back up.
So, there I am trying to pry my card free from the mouth of the machine while impatient fellow bankers are honking from behind. I don't know if I was more angry with the bank for taking my card or the people behind me for honking and embarrassing me while I was trying to get my card back. I ended u needing to reorder another one that she arrive in about a week or so.
Ever since hitting the age of 35 (only 2 short years ago), my life has been full of ridiculous stories like this one. Just last month, I deposited money and only included the deposit slip and not the actual cash. I, again, will just chalk this up to "old age".
